Code 93 barcode symbology, an enhancement over code 39, developed in 1982 by Intermec Technologies. Code 93 is a continuous, variable length and alphanumeric symbology capable of encoding 47 characters which includes full set of ASCII characters.
Code 93 is not self checking and also renowned with other names including ANSI/AIM Code 93, ANSI/AIM Code 93, Uniform Symbology Specification Code 93, USS Code 93, USS 93, Code 9/3, USS-93, USD-3, Code 93 Extended, and Code 93 Full ASCII.
